Birthday Cake 2

 

Ingredients:

1 cup flour

1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 lb (227 grams) beef liver

2 egg whites

12 oz (340 grams) softened low-fat cream cheese

squeeze cheese

mini dog bones

 

Mixing:

Butter a 9" round cake pan. Simmer beef liver in water to cover until cooked. Cool and grind in blender or food processor to smooth, soft paste. Mix with canned dog food. Beat egg whites to soft peaks; carefully fold into liver mixture. Blend in flour and baking powder. Pour into pan and bake 350 F (177C) 35-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool and frost with cream cheese. Decorate with mini dog bones and write "Happy Birthday" with squeeze cheese.
