Lactose intolerant Dogs:
Many dogs have a intolerance to cow milk products like yogurt. So here are a few suggestions to get around that.
- For those recipes that use milk or yogurt. Use Goat's milk or lactose free cows milk instead. You could make your own yogurt using goat's milk in place of cow's milk.
- For those recipes that use yogurt you could use a lactose free yogurt. Continental Yogurt makes one.
- Lactaid makes a 70% reduced lactose yogurt as well. Email them as it is not listed on their website.
- For those recipes that use yogurt, you could always use a soy based yogurt. See your local health food store for this one.
- Or you can make your own homemade yogurt to your liking.
