Liver Treats

 

Ingredients Needed:

16 oz (454 grams) liver, lamb, beef, pork or chicken

1 cup corn meal

1 cup flour

1/2 to 3/4 cup water

1/4 cup wheat germ

2 1/2 tablespoons garlic (powder or puree)

 

Mixing Instructions:

1) Run the liver through a blender or food processor.

2) Drain the excess liquid. Blot the ground liver with paper towels. Try to remove any excess moisture.

3) Combine all of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.

4) Spread the mixture on a greased cookie sheet. Make a layer about 1/4 of an inch thick.

5) Bake at 325 degrees F (163 degrees C) for 18-22 minutes or until the edges pull away from the pan.
